The PTSA Academic Celebration of Excellence (A.C.E.) Committee coordinates several events through the school year, as outlined below:
- Honor Roll Recognition: Students who qualify for any of the school's three honor rolls each of the first three quarters of the school year are eligible to participate in the "A Day" celebration which takes place the day that report cards are distributed. During all lunch periods, students should bring their report cards to the PTSA volunteers to receive raffle tickets. They will enter into a variety of possible drawings. Winners will be announced later the same day. Available also are Honor Roll magnets or stickers for all who qualify for the Honor Roll!
WHS HONOR ROLL INFORMATION
Honor Roll certificates will be distributed following 1st, 2nd and 3rd quarters. The WHS PTSA sponsors a Honor Roll drawing each quarter. Everyone on the Honor Roll is entered into a drawing for one of 20 gift cards to a local restaurant or facility. Winners are announced on the morning news
- Summa Cum Laude: 4.0 and higher
- Magna Cum Laude: 3.70-3.99
- Cum Laude: 3.30-3.69
How to Become a Westfield Scholar:
Earn an overall GPA of 4.0 or higher during your high school career and you will be recognized at the Senior Awards and will be presented a Westfield Scholar Medallion to wear at graduation.
