Fifth Annual National History Day Fair at Westfield High School
Do you want to be a part of history? If so, volunteer at our National History Day Fair!  The Social Studies department is in need of a few more judges to evaluate the History Day projects created by the honors students at our school. Come be a part of our gallery walk or watch amazing documentaries created by our students. Dance Team Fundraiser: The Westfield High School Varsity Dance Team is doing kids birthday parties and Brownie dancer badge workshops to fund raise for Nationals. If you know of any families with young children who may be interested, please spread the word. See attached flyers for details or contact Coach Jessica Davis at westfieldhsdanceteam@gmail.com.

New Tutoring Program – Bulldog Blitz!: This year, we replaced BITS with Bulldog Blitz. Bulldog Blitz is a FREE tutoring program for students currently enrolled at Westfield HS. Students seeking assistance with homework or other assignments work with Westfield HS student volunteers who previously mastered the content. The sessions will be held in the library from 10: 00 am to 11:00 am on the following dates:

May 11, 18

To register for Bulldog Blitz you can bring your Emergency Care Card to the session, or email your Emergency Care Card to jpsimmons@fcps.edu, or give your Emergency Care Card to your counselor. For more information about Bulldog Blitz, contact your counselor or Mr. Simmons, Assistant Principal at 703-488-6341.

Join the Mulch Party Madness Team! Mulch Days are April 26 & 27.  This event is the largest fundraiser for the PTSA sponsored All Night Grad Party, a drug- and alcohol-free event that allows WHS graduates to celebrate their big day in a fun, safe venue. The Mulch Sale also provides critical funds to the PTSA’s scholarship programs.

NOW is the time to get your team or club registered to participate. (We have extended the deadline to Feb. 5) The signup for students and parents is created based on the teams and clubs who registered. EVERYONE can participate, but a BONUS $500 and the TIPS ($6000) are distributed based on the group that each person belongs to. Check with your team coach or club sponsor to make sure you don’t miss out on this opportunity! Easy ways to Support Westfield – Please note that Giant and Harris Teeter require yearly registration!

• Harris Teeter: Register your VIC card at this link   Our school code is 8134. You must reregister each year. 
• Giant: Program restarts September 7th. The program requires yearly registration. Please update your card (and encourage your friends and families to also) and select Westfield as your school of choice. Westfield’s code is 03798.  Simply log in at the Giant website, then “manage my account” and register Westfield. You may register up to two schools. Thank you!
